Job summary

Journeys in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a store leader to assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, training, and managing personnel to hit sales goals and protect company assets.

You’ll train and develop a high-performing sales team, provide feedback and coaching, uphold policies, and ensure a fun, full-service experience for customers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing policies.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented according to direction.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage daily store operations and loss prevention in manager absence.
• Communicate store needs to leadership and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain a fun, full-service experience for customers and embody Journeys culture.
