Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of managerial experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Retention: Network, recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates to fill store profiles and support succession planning.
• Training Completion: Ensure all associates complete training per company guidelines.
• Leadership by Example: Train, develop, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and delivering the customer experience.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by regularly assessing and coaching the team to enhance the Customer Experience.
• Visual Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and maintain floor and stockroom cleanliness.
• Sales Goals: Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Strategic Execution: Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
• Payroll Management: Meet payroll expectations.
• Loss Prevention: Control assets by meeting loss prevention measures.
• Policy Compliance: Execute and comply with company policies.
• Decision Making: Use sound judgment when making decisions.
• Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills.
• Integrity & Respect: Act with integrity and respect.
• Adaptability: Adapt to changes required by the business.
