Job summary

GUESS Factory in West Palm Beach is seeking a Co-Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, delivering excellent customer experiences, and achieving sales goals.

You will mentor associates, implement training, manage payroll and shrink, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires at least two years of managerial experience and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of managerial experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team of individuals.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Retention: Network, recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-quality management and associates to fill store profiles and support succession planning.
• Training Completion: Ensure all associates complete training per company guidelines.
• Leadership by Example: Lead by example by training, developing, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and delivering the customer experience.
• Customer Service: Ensure an excellent level of customer service is a priority at all times by consistently executing and achieving the Customer Experience through regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
• Visual Merchandising: Implement all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Sales Goals: Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Strategic Execution: Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
• Payroll Management: Meet all payroll expectations.
• Loss Prevention: Control company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures.
• Policy Compliance: Execute and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Decision Making: Use sound judgment when making decisions.
• Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills.
• Integrity & Respect: Act with integrity and respect.
• Adaptability: Adapt to changes required by the business.
