Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a young toddler classroom (12–24 months) preferred.
• Current SIDS certification preferred.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs. in relation to child handling and safety.
• Must remain active throughout the day to engage with children in activities.
• Supervise children through sight and sound at all times.
• Comply with State, Goddard, and local Health Department regulations and maintain compliance.
• Meets NC background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead teachers coordinate daily operations of assigned classes.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
