Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Co‑Foreman to move into a Foreman role, guiding a crew on foundation projects in the California/San Marcos region. You will learn leadership through hands‑on instruction, coordinate daily jobsite operations, and uphold safety and quality standards under a Foreman’s supervision.

You’ll help plan work, monitor progress against schedule and budget, and mentor two or more crew members while maintaining strong client communication and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, motivation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience leading crews or small teams required.
• Construction/home services or trade experience preferred.
• Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman in leading a high‑performance team on local projects.
• Review job specs to determine materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assess conditions on-site and assign duties to crew.
• Install products and services with support of a national team.
• Plan and coordinate work to meet time and budget targets.
• Provide customers with quality service while on-site.
• Complete paperwork and job-site inspections accurately.
• Safely load/unload materials and operate equipment as directed.
