FUNDAMENTALS Child Development Center in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a passionate Co-Director to share leadership and drive exceptional early childhood education. You will co-lead daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure licensing compliance while developing age-appropriate curricula.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families and community partners, staffing, onboarding, and performance evaluation to sustain program quality and enrollment goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Experience in childcare leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of NC DCDEE licensing requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead daily operations of the center alongside the Director.
• Supervise, mentor, and support classroom teachers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with NC childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate early childhood curriculum.

• Current or ability to obtain required childcare certifications and background clearances
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
