Job summary
OU Health seeks an Advanced Practice Student in Oklahoma City for the CNS Track, focusing on Adult Surgical Specialty Services. This position is designed for nursing Master's Degree candidates, offering exposure to clinical settings and multidisciplinary teams.
The selected candidate will perform as a learning clinical expert under the guidance of experienced professionals, engaging in patient care, nursing research, and system improvements.
A Bachelor's in Nursing and 2 years of RN experience are required, along with necessary licensure and certifications.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Patient Care.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License.
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties within the scope of an experienced Registered Nurse (RN).
- Support and conduct nursing research.
- Provide leadership in advancing the practice of nursing.
- Develop innovative solutions addressing patient care issues.
