Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing operations at a 40-bed hospital in the Norwood, Ohio area. This executive role requires hands‑on leadership across the hospital’s nursing and clinical operations.

You will oversee approximately 10 direct reports, including supervisors and managers, and partner closely with the CEO and senior leaders to drive staffing, clinical quality, infection control, and regulatory readiness while maintaining high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• BSN and Master's degree are required.
• At least 5 years of hospital experience.
• At least 2 years of nursing management experience.
• Director-level nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing operations, clinical standards, staffing, and patient-care delivery across the hospital.
• Manage and develop nursing managers, supervisors, and other clinical department leaders.
• Partner with the CEO, HR Director, and senior leadership team.
• Maintain staffing coverage based on census and acuity.
• Support quality, infection control, education, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Provide leadership around Joint Commission readiness and hospital compliance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen nursing operations, including night-shift coverage.
