Job summary

Artera Technologies seeks CNO Analysts/Programmers across junior to principal levels in Maryland. The role focuses on software development, reverse engineering, and network-programming tasks in Windows and UNIX environments.

Ideal candidates will have strong C and Python skills, familiarity with version control, and experience in embedded and microservice contexts. TS/SCI with polygraph is required for the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/PE or similar technical major with 0–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong C programming and Python development experience required.
  • Experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python.
  • Familiarity with Subversion and CVS version control tools.
  • Able to debug software and troubleshoot issues.
  • Unix/Linux development experience.

CNO ANALYSTS / PROGRAMMERS

Job Type: Full Time

Level: Junior, Mid, Senior, Principal

Location: Maryland (Annapolis Junction / Fort Meade area)

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Appropriate Agency Polygraph

Tasking:
  • Programming in Assembly, C/C++, Python, Assembly, using CNO tools and techniques.
  • Developing on or more of the following:
    • Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments.
    • UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
    • Cisco, Juniper, Android, Apple iOS.
  • Developing network related programs (e.g., packet level).
  • Expert ability in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong C programming and Python development experience is required.
  • Experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python
  • Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using makefiles or comparable build environments.
  • Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.)

General Qualifications:
  • CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 1 requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major, and 0-8 years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 2 requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major, and 8-10 years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • CNO Analyst/Programmer Level 3 requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical majoror related discipline, and 10+ years of relevant experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
