Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife Lead to oversee the midwifery team and provide expert clinical leadership. This role mentors CNMs, coordinates training, and ensures high-quality patient care while advancing the midwifery practice within the department.

Responsibilities include strategic planning with physician and nursing leadership, budgeting input, and ensuring compliant credentials.

Qualifications

MSN or DNP in Midwifery required.
RN and APRN licenses in good standing.
AMCB certification and active DEA license.
NRP and ACLS certifications.
EFM Monitoring required.
5+ years Ob/Gyn or Labor & Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance for the midwifery team with leadership support.
Mentor and develop CNMs; promote high-quality patient care and safety.
Oversee workflows, licensing, credentialing, and privileges for staff.
Collaborate with OB/GYN and hospital leadership on clinical and operational goals.
Lead QA/QI activities and participate in annual CNM evaluations.
