Job summary

Mobius Renewables is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead our mid-sized CNG/RNG trucking fleet. You will oversee dispatch, driver accountability, maintenance, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules, and a track record of improving fleet efficiency and safety in a fast-growing renewables environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent fleet leadership experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in trucking, transportation, or fleet operations with dispatch and compliance responsibility.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a fleet team in a fast-paced environment.
• Regulatory: Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and CSA expectations.
• Operations: Experience managing tractors, trailers, driver schedules, and service performance.
• Safety: Demonstrated ability to reinforce safe work practices and incident follow-up.
• Technical: Proficiency with fleet-management systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fleet operations including dispatch coordination, route execution, asset deployment and delivery performance.
• Supervise drivers, ensure safety, policy compliance, and address attendance and performance issues.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance, prepare for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Oversee CNG/RNG pipeline movements, scheduling, loading/unloading workflows and customer requirements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and downtime to keep equipment reliable.
• Improve utilization, route efficiency, fuel performance, and reduce empty miles.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations to plan loads and resolve disruptions quickly.
• Reconcile daily BOLs, invoices, and driver payroll; support contract obligations.
• Maintain fleet documentation and reporting; track KPIs and drive improvements.
• Manage vendor relations with maintenance providers and roadside services.
