Job summary

Mobius Renewables is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the daily operations of our mid-sized CNG/RNG virtual pipeline trucking fleet. You will oversee dispatch, driver accountability, BOL/invoicing reconciliation, payroll, and compliance to ensure safe, reliable service.

The ideal candidate has hands-on trucking operations experience, DOT/FMCSA knowledge, and a proven ability to improve fleet efficiency and on-time delivery within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent leadership experience considered.
• 3+ years of trucking/fleet operations experience including dispatch and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership of a fleet team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Experience managing tractors, trailers, and service performance.
• Safety-focused with incident follow-up and corrective actions.
• Proficient with fleet systems and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fleet operations for a mid-sized trucking fleet, including dispatch coordination and asset deployment.
• Supervise drivers, address attendance and performance, enforce safety and policy compliance.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance, plan for audits and inspections, and promote a safety culture.
• Oversee CNG/RNG equipment movements, scheduling, loading/unloading workflows, and site requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance, downtime, and reliability improvements for tractors and trailers.
• Monitor KPI like on-time delivery, uptime, and cost performance; drive improvements.
• Assist with BOL reconciliation, invoicing, and driver payroll reconciliation.
• Support contract management and vendor relationships to ensure fleet continuity.
