CompX National is hiring a CNC Vertical and Swiss Lathe Machinist for our Mauldin, SC location. The role involves setting up and operating CNC vertical mills or Swiss lathes, running multiple machines, and making precise adjustments to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years' experience in CNC milling or Swiss lathe operations, with strong blueprint reading skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3–5 years CNC Mill or Swiss Lathe experience
• read blueprints and inspect parts to ensure tolerances

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Mills or Swiss Lathes
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Make machine adjustments as needed
• Maintain quality and meet close tolerance requirements using measuring tools
• Follow safety regulations and 5S/lean practices
• Support ISO documentation and procedures
