CompX National, located in Mauldin, SC, is seeking CNC Vertical Mills and Swiss Lathe Machinists. The role requires operating multiple machines, reading blueprints, and maintaining high quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

Preferred candidates have 3–5 years of CNC experience, strong math, and the ability to troubleshoot. Prior exposure to ISO standards and lean practices is a plus; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years CNC Mill or Swiss/Lathe operational experience preferred
• Strong math background; read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to troubleshoot issues; high attention to detail
• Work in oil, coolant, and chip environment; team oriented and fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills or Swiss Lathes
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Make machine adjustments as needed
• Maintain excellent quality and high efficiency
• Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments and adhere to tolerances
• Follow safety regulations and maintain cleanliness
• Follow 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO standards
• Support quality/compliance by following procedures and forms
