Job summary

Viper Northwest, Inc. in Albany, OR is hiring a Vertical Mill Machinist for a full-time, weekend-shift role on Haas CNC equipment. The position requires 5–10 years of precision machining experience, multi-axis capability, and CAD/CAM programming knowledge.

You will set up mills and lathes, program and verify parts, and uphold safety and quality standards. Join a long-standing precision manufacturing team that delivers components on time by applying GD&T and meticulous process control.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-10 years of experience as a Machinist in a precision machine shop; Level 4 or 5; multi-axis experience preferred.
• CAD/CAM programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to tolerance based on blueprint requirements using CNC machines.
• Set up mills and lathes with appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces to ensure quality.
• Maintain safe operations and adherence to company safety procedures.
• Follow quality policies to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts.
