Viper Northwest, Inc. in Albany, OR seeks an experienced CNC Vertical Hurco Machinist for the swing shift. The role requires setting up mills and lathes, programming, QA checks, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers a competitive hourly rate and a 10% swing differential. The ideal candidate has 5 years of precision machining experience, proficient in GD&T, and comfortable with Windows-based data collection and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; related technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as a Machinist in a precision shop; Journeyman level preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, prints and travelers; basic math and GD&T knowledge.
• Basic computer skills; able to use Windows and data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Hurco CNC controls; obtain program approvals.
• Set up mills and lathes with appropriate fixtures and tools.
• Maintain safety and quality; perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect parts with proper gauges; ensure conformance to drawings.
