100Hires, Inc. is seeking a CNC Lathe Setup/Operator on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM) in Downers Grove, IL. You will set up and run 2–4 axis lathes for aerospace components, reading blueprints and applying GD&T, and ensuring part tolerance.

The role emphasizes precision measurement, quick problem solving, and independent work with Fanuc or similar controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency required.
• Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances and apply precision measurement techniques.
• Experience with Fanuc or comparable controls preferred.
• Comfort working independently on the 2nd shift (3:00–1:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (2–4 axis) to produce aerospace parts.
• Interpret prints and GD&T; verify critical dimensions.
• Handle tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits.
• Inspect and document results using precision metrology tools.
• Resolve machining issues to maintain flow and standards.
