Job summary

100Hires, Inc. partners with a precision machine shop to hire a Multi-Axis CNC Turning Setup Specialist. You will own set-ups on advanced CNC lathes for production and prototype work, ensuring parts meet exacting specifications.

Responsibilities include adjusting tooling, offsets, and machine parameters, loading materials, and performing first-piece and in-process inspections with precision gauges to guarantee quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• 6+ months CNC lathe machin ing experience and ability to perform part set-ups.
• Hands-on experience machining precision metal components.
• Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Proficiency in tape measure reading and basic inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multi-axis CNC lathes for production and prototype work.
• Adjust controls, tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to maintain quality and throughput.
• Load raw material and components into semi-automated equipment.
• Inspect first piece and in-process parts using precision instruments to verify specifications.
