Step Into Precision: A Day in Your New RoleImagine clocking in at a shop built around mission‑critical quality. You head to a 4‑axis horizontal mill or a mill‑turn lathe, review the setup plan, and load your first parts. You prove out the program, tweak tool and work offsets, and make smart edits on the fly. Throughout the shift, you move between CNC lathes, mill‑turns, and 3/4/5‑axis mills, interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T to keep tolerances tight. You verify everything with micrometers, calipers, and indicators, document results, and partner closely with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality to keep production flowing. Your work supports aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and advanced automation customers who rely on us to get it right—every time.Shift OptionsMonday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM — 10% shift differentialFriday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM — 30% shift differentialCore ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC lathes, mill‑turns, and 3/4/5‑axis millsSet up machines, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform program editsRead and apply complex drawings, specifications, and GD&TInspect using precision hand tools; correct process as neededMaintain a clean, organized workstation and complete basic PMCollaborate with production leaders, engineers, maintenance, and qualityWhat You’ll BringHigh school diploma/GED and machining training or 2+ years of CNC experienceBackground machining medium‑to‑high complexity partsFluent in blueprint reading and GD&THands‑on with micrometers, calipers, and indicators; CMM exposure is a plusAble to follow work instructions, adapt to changes, and tend multiple machinesStrong math, tooling/fixturing knowledge, and cutting strategy know‑howExperience with 4‑axis horizontal mills and/or lathe/mill‑turn equipmentWhy PrecinmacMedical, Dental, Vision plans with low employee cost401(k) with immediate 100% vesting and employer matchCompany‑paid STD, LTD, and Life InsurancePTO that rewards experience plus 10 paid holidaysTuition assistance and moreLearn more about Precinmac—our people, benefits, and culture—on our website: www.precinmac.comProficiencies We ValueGD&TCNC ToolingCNC ProgrammingG‑CodeM‑CodeCNC Machine Setup & ChangeoverPrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyAerospace ManufacturingMachine Setups for Production RunsManual Machining SkillsEqual OpportunityWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
