You will read detailed drawings, apply GD&T, and collaborate with programmers to optimize tools and processes.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3+ years of CNC experience.
• Strong ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries.

Responsibilities

• Perform full setups on CNC turning centers and complete complex machining operations.
• Read and follow job routers, process control sheets, and engineered sketches, applying GD&T and machining knowledge.
• Independently troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, surface finish defects, and tool wear.
• Collaborate with programmers to refine tool paths, optimize G-code, and reduce cycle times.
• Inspect critical features using micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM reports, and metrology equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Run multiple machines to improve utilization.
• Work as part of a team to build quality products.
