Job summary

Ace Precision Machining in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers to produce precision sheet metal components and finished goods for aerospace, defense, and space programs.

You will read complex drawings, verify programs, and make on-machine edits to improve quality, efficiency, and tool life, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of related CNC experience
• Ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries
• Proficient with GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers to produce precision components
• Load tools, set offsets, verify programs, and ensure quality parts
• Read and interpret complex drawings, models, and GD&T requirements
• Make on-machine edits to improve quality, efficiency, and tool life
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM, and visual inspection
• Collaborate with Programming, Engineering, and Quality on process improvements
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and maintenance
• Follow quality system and safety rules
• Stay productive by running multiple machines
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products
