Ace Precision Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Turning Setup Machinist to join a team serving Aerospace, Power Generation, Defense and Space industries. You will perform full setups on CNC turning centers, read complex drawings, and troubleshoot issues to ensure precision and quality.

You will collaborate with programmers to optimize tool paths and reduce cycle times while maintaining meticulous production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of three years CNC experience.
• Strong ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries.
• Proficient with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform full setups on CNC turning centers and complete machining operations.
• Read routers and process control sheets; follow engineered sketches.
• Troubleshoot machining issues; collaborate with programmers to optimize tool paths.
• Inspect features using micrometers, gauges, and CMM reports; maintain records.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform full setups on CNC turning centers and complete complex machining operations
• Read and follow job routers, process control sheets, and engineered
• sketches, applying advanced GD&T and machining knowledge Independently
• troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, surface finish defects,
• dimensional drift, tool wear, and machine variances Collaborate with
• programmers to refine tool paths, optimize G-code, improve quality, and
• reduce cycle times Inspect critical features using micrometers, height
• gauges, bore gauges, CMM reports, and advanced metrology equipment
• Maintain accurate production and quality records Run multiple machines
• simultaneously to improve utilization Work as part of a collaborative

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• High school diploma or general education
• degree (GED), with minimum of three years of related CNC experience
• Strong ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries on
• preferably aerospace materials (titanium, Inconel, stainless steel,
• aluminum) Proficient with GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and in-process
• inspection methods Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship,
• and a safety-first mindset
