Job summary

Ace Precision Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills to produce precision sheet metal components and finished goods.

Read complex drawings and GD&T requirements, make on-machine edits, inspect parts with metrology tools, and collaborate with Programming, Engineering and Quality to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read complex drawings and interpret GD&T requirements.
• Maintain quality while meeting production targets within a quality system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills to produce precision sheet metal components and finished goods.
• Load tools, set offsets, verify programs, and produce quality parts.
• Read and interpret complex drawings, models, and GD&T requirements.
• Make on-machine edits to improve quality, efficiency, and tool life in accordance with our quality system.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection.
• Work closely with Programming, Engineering, and Quality on process improvements.
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Follow quality system and safety rules.
• Stay productive by running multiple machines simultaneously.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products.
