B&A Precision seeks a CNC Turning Operations & Setup Technician who excels at turning blueprints into precise components. You will set up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, verify dimensions with precision gauges, and ensure first-piece and in-process quality meets exacting standards.

The role requires at least 3 years of CNC lathe setup/operation, strong G-code and GD&T understanding, and a collaborative mindset to sustain high throughput and quality in a team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls; strong G-code knowledge.
• Blueprint reading proficiency; GD&T knowledge desirable.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes (2- and 3-axis) with Fanuc controls.
• Apply G-code programming to optimize and confirm processes.

You study the print, interpret GD&T callouts, and map your approach. You set up a 2- or 3-axis CNC horizontal lathe with Fanuc controls, confirm tool lengths and wear, validate G‑code, and run a first‑piece. With the right gages, you verify critical features and tweak as needed.
