Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Machine Operator Trainee in Arcadia, CA, with a contract-to-hire path. Start of a structured program to learn CNC machining, tool and die processes, and blueprint interpretation. First shift, onsite, with clear progression from level 1 to level 2 as you gain skills.

Paid training and extensive hands-on cnc operation, with benefits eligibility, and a path toward stable manufacturing roles in aerospace applications.

Qualifications

Job Description

Job Title: Machine Operator Trainee

Join an esteemed Tool and Die Training Academy and embark on a journey to become a skilled Tool & Die Maker and CNC Machinist. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start from scratch and gain comprehensive training in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Participate in extensive training to become proficient in CNC machining and Tool & Die making.
• Engage in hands-on learning experiences with CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Develop a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Essential Skills

• Mechanical inclination
• Desire to learn CNC machining and Tool & Die trades
• Basic math and computer skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines, blueprints, and GD&T is preferred
• Strong desire to learn about aerospace applications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arcadia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
