Job summary

Addman Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to read blueprints and GD&T, program CNC mills and lathes with Mastercam, and design fixtures and tooling. You will verify parts with precision measurement tools and work toward continuous process improvements.

Candidates should have strong machining skills, experience with 3- and 5-axis machines, and the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. ITAR facility eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient CNC programming experience required.
• Mastercam programming and troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to design and manufacture fixtures, workholding, jigging, and tooling.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings, GD&T, CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes, including 3-axis and 5-axis machines.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for tooling and fixtures.
• Develop and repair fixtures, jigs, and other manufacturing aids.
• Verify conformance using precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, fixture, and workholding issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Programming to improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce setup and cycle time and improve tooling design.
