Job summary

Honda is seeking qualified individuals to maintain tooling and ensure quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on tooling upkeep, process adherence, and continuous improvement through PDCA and collaboration with engineers.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of machining or tooling experience, and a solid understanding of the metric measuring system. Strong responsiveness to production needs is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Machining experience or equivalent tooling experience.
• Must understand metric measuring system.
• Ability to respond immediately to production floor needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct checks and apply action per plant policies to ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale.
• Maintain tooling per process requirements using QC tables and setup procedures.
• Monitor conditions and react to prevent negative production impact.
• Communicate shift results to support PDCA and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to tooling improvements with engineers and vendors.
• Contain and repair nonconforming product to prevent outages.
