Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining or CNC setup experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Ability to work independently and attend second shift.
• Overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and calibrate CNC cutting tools with proper offsets.
• Read engineering drawings and verify tool alignment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators to check tooling.
• Troubleshoot wear, misalignment, and machining issues.
• Support CNC mills and lathes and coordinate with programmers.
• Aim to improve tooling efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Monitor tool life and manage tooling inventory.
