Qualifications

• Strong math and problem-solving skills, including basic trigonometry for angles.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn CNC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with or willingness to learn precision measuring/inspection equipment.
• Good work ethic, attention to detail, and desire to learn a skilled trade.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd/3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn CNC tool grinding processes from setup to finished tools.
• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC grinding machines.
• Select grinding wheels and tooling for each job.
• Enter tool specs and machine parameters into controls.
• Perform first‑piece inspections and adjust machines for quality.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings for all jobs.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify tool quality.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while developing machining skills.
