Qualifications

• Strong math and problem‑solving skills; basic trig for angles.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn CNC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and interprettechnical drawings.
• Experience with or willingness to learn precision measuring tools.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and desire to learn a craft.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift and move to 2nd/3rd shift after training.

Responsibilities

• Learn the CNC tool grinding process from start to finished tools.
• Set up and operate multi‑axis CNC grinding machines.
• Select grinding wheels and tooling for each job.
• Enter tool specs and machine parameters into CNC controls.
• Perform first‑piece inspections and adjust machines for quality.
• Read blueprints, work instructions and drawings accurately.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify tool quality and adjust as needed.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while building machining skills.
