Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Toolmaker with CNC machining experience to design, fabricate, and maintain precision tooling for aerospace manufacturing in a low-volume, high-mix environment. 2nd and 3rd shifts are available with a 15% differential, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years toolmaker/CNC experience in a precision environment.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with G-code programming and machine setup.
• Proficient with precision inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently on print-to-complete projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and repair precision tooling and dies.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders (3- to 5-axis).
• Interpret drawings and tolerances to plan machining.
• Plan sequences and select tooling for prototype tooling.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, threading, and grinding.
• Inspect with micrometers, calipers, CMM; document results.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve tooling.
