Job summary

You will document results, handle non-conforming material, and report deviations to quality leadership. The role requires reading drawings, using calipers and gauges, and a solid grasp of the metric system; CNC or CMM experience is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to verify specifications.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools.
• Strong knowledge of the metric system and measurement tolerance.
• CNC or CMM experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests products to ensure adherence to standards of strength, quality, measurements and endurance.
• Documents the results of all inspections.
• Ensures non-conforming material is handled per procedure.
• Reports deviations to quality leadership.
• Informs quality leadership of priority inspection results.
• Able to work independently or in a team, prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and may require overtime.
