Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist for 2nd shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm) in Newnan, GA. The ideal candidate will operate CNC and manual machines, interpret blueprints, and maintain high-quality parts with tight tolerances. Strong GD&T knowledge and precise measurement skills are required.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, inspecting outputs, and maintaining documentation while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Trade-focused education and prior CNC experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Trade school certificate or specialized education in machining preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC and/or manual machinery valued but not required for entry-level applicants.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to fabricate or repair precision components.
• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine setups, procedures, and sequences.
• Apply GD&T to ensure product conformity.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, pi tapes) to inspect parts.
