Job summary

Qualifications

CNC technician position available in the Eaton Rapids, Michigan area. This is a direct hire opportunity working at an established manufacturing company. 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay range is $23.00 to $25.00 an hour.

Requirements, knowledge, skills & abilities for the CNC technician role:

• Experience in CNC machining, tooling process, and maintenance fields with preferably five or more years of experience.
• Working knowledge of CNC operation as well as all other machining equipment.
• Must understand all process control monitoring equipment and be able to implement improvements as required.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or shift rotation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and team player qualities
• Sound command of English language (written and oral).
• CAD/CAM, AutoCAD or other related computer graphics/drafting related experience would be an asset.
• Computer skills: Excel, Timeline, etc., would be an asset.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position and work within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Ability to drive/operator a fork truck.
• Associate degree essential
