PPS-HPS in Ohio is seeking an Advanced CNC Programmer/Technical Lead to drive programming excellence, optimize machining processes, mentor operators, and support future automation initiatives in a hands-on, direct-hire capacity that values craftsmanship and continuous learning.

Are you a highly skilled CNC Programmer looking to take the next step into a technical leadership role? We are partnering with a growing manufacturer seeking an Advanced CNC Programmer / Technical Lead to drive programming excellence, optimize machining processes, mentor operators, and support future automation initiatives.

This is a hands-on role where you\'ll have the opportunity to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, develop best practices, and serve as the go-to technical expert within the machining department.

What You\'ll Do

• Create and optimize CNC programs for production machining.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
• Improve cycle times, machine utilization, and overall process efficiency.
• Lead setup validation, first-piece approvals, and production launches.
• Support fixture development and tooling optimization.
• Train and mentor CNC operators and setup personnel.

What We\'re Looking For

• Strong CNC programming background.
• Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, Esprit, HyperMill, or similar.
• Advanced G-code knowledge.
• Strong setup, fixturing, tooling, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to improve machining processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Experience with Haas, Mazak, Brother, Fanuc, or similar controls is a plus.
