Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Bloomington, MN is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist to operate a CNC Swiss lathe with minimal supervision and manage production runs, records, and quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, and proficiency with CNC controls; training may be provided for setting up CNC Swiss lathes. Shift is 1st, with rotating weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• One year related experience, training and/or technical education.
• Proficiency with CNC controls.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes.

Responsibilities

• Setup, load parts and cycle CNC equipment per daily schedule on a lathe.
• Perform inspection of machined products and document results.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions and SOPs.
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
