Job summary

Professional Plastics in Town of Orchard Park, NY is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist to set up, program and operate multi-axis Swiss-style turning centers to produce high-precision, miniature components from bar stock.

You will inspect parts to tight tolerances, optimize tool paths, troubleshoot production runs and support in-process inspection with calipers, micrometers and CMMs. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Swiss Machinist experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, programs, and process sheets.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate Swiss-style machines independently.
• Edit programs, adjust offsets and tooling to optimize production.
• Inspect parts to GD&T tolerances and ensure quality and safety.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

2-3 years’ experience in a Swiss Machinist role
