Job summary

The Nycor Group is seeking a hands-on CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Support Technician in the Plymouth, MN area. You will program and support CNC operations across mills, lathes, grinding, and Swiss machining using Mastercam, and help develop clear setup instructions and work instructions.

Ideal candidates have an AA or equivalent in Machining and 3+ years of CNC programming experience; you’ll lead small improvement projects and collaborate with engineers and production staff to raise quality,

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent degree in Machining / Machining Technology.
• 3+ years hands-on CNC programming experience (Mills, Lathes, Grinding, Swiss).
• Mastercam experience (preferred).
• Ability to create clear machine setup instructions and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Program and support CNC operations across milling, turning, grinding, and Swiss machining using Mastercam.
• Develop and maintain setup instructions, tooling requirements, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead small projects and cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement.
• Support a culture of manufacturing excellence.
