Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Swiss lathe technician to produce aerospace components in Indiana. You will set up, program, and run sliding-headstock lathes with guide bushings, tooling and automated bar feeders, ensuring tight tolerances and high surface finishes.

You will interpret blueprints, conduct first article and in-process inspections, and adjust tooling and parameters to sustain quality throughout production, adhering to AS9100 and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3+ years operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or comparable).
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T fluency.
• Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
• Background machining aerospace materials: titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Preferred: AS9100 or ISO-certified aerospace environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run Swiss-type CNC lathes with guide bushings, tooling packages, and automated bar feeders.
• Load programs, establish work and tool offsets, verify the setup, and prove out prior to production.
• Produce complex parts from bar stock that meet tight tolerance and surface finish requirements.
• Interpret detailed blueprints and GD&T; perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Adjust offsets and machine parameters to maintain part quality; troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, and drift.
