Qualifications

• Structural steel fabrication experience required.
• Experience operating CNC equipment, especially mill/lathe and drill line.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery used in structural steel production, including combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
• Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work orders before and during production.
• Machine and assemble structural steel components using hand and power tools.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain proper dimensions, accuracy, and production quality.
• Inspect completed parts to verify they meet drawing and structural specifications.
• Identify equipment issues and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Enter production information and maintain records using Global Shop or similar ERP software.
• Work with the production team to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
