Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a CNC Steel Fabrication Machine Operator in Cocoa, FL to process steel components with CNC cutting, sawing and drilling equipment. The role requires operating CNC plasma tables or similar machines, handling materials with overhead cranes, and marking parts accurately.

You will set up machines, measure and verify dimensions, select materials, and track production and usage. Expect a physically demanding, hot/cold industrial environment with opportunities on 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC plasma table or sawing/drilling/cutting operations.
• Experience with one or more listed machines: Kinetic Plasma Table; Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line; Peddinghaus Angle Master; Ficep Beamline.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16 inch.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret blueprints, symbols, and notes.
• Experience safely operating overhead cranes and material transfer/conveyor systems.
• Tekla PowerFab experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments.

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift
Pay: Up to $27.00/hour
2nd Shift Differential: Additional $3.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to process steel components using CNC cutting, sawing, and drilling equipment. Candidates should have experience operating at least one relevant machine, handling materials with overhead cranes, and marking parts accurately.

Shift Information

First- and second-shift opportunities are available. Second-shift employees receive an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential.
