Job summary

Smithsgroup2 seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead CNC turning and milling operations, optimize schedules, and drive safety, quality, and productivity in the Pasadena shop. You will manage hourly staff, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and implement Lean practices to improve delivery and costs.

The role requires strong communication, 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, and proficiency with CNC, MES/ERP systems, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with CNC operation and setup principles, tooling requirements, online and offline programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate hourly personnel in production, service or maintenance to meet schedules across shifts.
• Lead CNC turning and milling operations to maximize machine utilization and throughput while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Develop workforce through cross-training and competency alignment with product/process requirements.
• Promote a safety-first culture, ensure compliance with procedures and regulations, and eliminate unsafe conditions.
