Job summary

Smiths Group is seeking an experienced leader to direct CNC operations in Pasadena. You will oversee production, manage a skilled workforce, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in manufacturing and 2 years in leadership.

This is a dynamic role requiring technical knowledge in CNC operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
• Technical experience with CNC operations, tooling, and programming.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with metal machining.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily CNC turning and milling operations effectively.
• Build and develop a highly skilled workforce.
• Champion safety and compliance in the machine shop.
• Collaborate with various functions for operational success.
