Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear now hiring a CNC Shop Supervisor in Danielsville, PA. This 1st shift role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, leading a production team in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment.

You will oversee CNC lathe operations, coordinate daily activities, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring policies and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading a production team in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• CNC programming and machining knowledge beneficial.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines for turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling.
• Manage day-to-day department operations, ensuring safe, efficient workflows and accurate timekeeping.
• Coach and evaluate team performance; conduct trainings and skill development.
• Onboard and train new employees and support ongoing development.
• Prioritize and expedite shop orders to meet schedules and customer needs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and address safety concerns promptly.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Address production or personnel issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
