Job summary

Jobot seeks a hands-on CNC Shop Manager to lead a small precision machining team in Montgomeryville, PA. You will ensure quality and output across 7 vertical machining centers and 3 CNC lathes, while actively machining as needed and using Gibbs CAM.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CNC machining and programming in a job shop, collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership to drive production goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining and programming experience in a job shop.
• Hands-on manager with active participation in machining tasks.
• Experience supervising a small machinist team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the quality and output of less than 10 CNC machinists on 7 vertical machining centers and 3 CNC lathes.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing manager, general manager, president, and engineering department.
• Use Gibbs CAM for programming and setup tasks.
