Job summary

Aerotek in York, PA is seeking a Metal Shop Production Technician to operate CNC and manual press brakes in a clean, modern facility. This permanent, first-shift role offers $22/hour with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will read blueprints, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and support setups, changeovers, and preventive maintenance while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and press brakes.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual press brakes.
• Install hardware using Haeger insertion equipment.
• Perform resistance spot welding.
• Read blueprints, work instructions and drawings.
• Measure and inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, tape measures.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
• Assist with setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment and processes.
