Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Setup/Run Machinist in Inglewood, CA for an on-site contract role. The Machinist will set up and run 2.5 to 3 axis CNC VMCs to produce high-precision aerospace components, working with programmers to optimize programs, tool life, and fixture fabrication.

Candidates should have 4 years of related experience, be comfortable with GD&T features, and be willing to learn programming as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with 2.5–3 axis CNC VMC Mills.
• GD&T experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 2.5–3 axis CNC VMCs to produce components.
• Collaborate with programmers to run CNC programs.
• Select cutters and maximize tooling life.
• Follow setup documentation and inspection plans.
• Assist with fixtures, tooling, and housekeeping.
