Job summary

Inversion is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to develop, optimize, and support using CNC programs for machining components and tooling. The ideal candidate has experience in CNC machining processes, ensuring high-quality, precise, and repeatable production.

Qualifications

Typically 1-5+ years of CNC set-up experience on 5-axis mills and lathes.
Experience with Fanuc, TNC-7, and Haas controls.
Ability to hold tolerances to 0.0001.
Proficient reading blueprints and GD&T.
Experience with aerospace alloys (aluminum, titanium, Inconel).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with live tooling.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
Select, install, and maintain tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor machining runs and ensure parts meet print specifications.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues; recommend process improvements.
Collaborate closely with programmers to maintain efficient workflows.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
