Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of machining experience with CNC lathes and/or CNC mills or four semesters of vocational/high school machine-shop training with at least one year of CNC experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently perform machine setups.
• Hands-on experience setting up CNC lathes, mills, or machining centers.
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicators).
• Ability to inspect machined components and identify dimensional or quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers for production runs.
• Operate equipment while maintaining required production quantities and quality.
• Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments.
• Inspect components using micrometers, calipers, comparators, indicators.
• Verify finished products meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Monitor machining processes and address tooling or production issues.
• Maintain accurate production counts and records.
• Participate in machining process improvements.
• Support additional cell responsibilities as needed.
• Potentially assist non-destructive testing, mass finishing, injection molding, or polishing.
