Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or 2–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires basic understanding of blueprint reading, leadership capability and ability to solve problems.
• Must be able to read micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Edit Programs for Mills, Lathes, Break Press, Lasers and Robotic Welders by entering instructions and setting tool registers.
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting operations and measuring results.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Set up three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments and bar feeders.
• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints and GD&T.
• Verify settings by measuring positions and first-run parts using micrometers and calipers.
